These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Read My Story website and services, including the creation and hosting of memorial eTribute pages. By purchasing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Read My Story designs and hosts personalised eTribute pages. Depending on the selected package, you may submit photos, text, audio recordings, and short videos for inclusion on the tribute page.

• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when submitting content.
• You confirm you hold all necessary rights, permissions, and licences for any content you provide.
• You must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, hateful, explicit, pornographic, or otherwise violates the rights of others.
• Read My Story may refuse or remove content that breaches these requirements.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure. However, no online system is completely secure, and you provide information at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Read My Story is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including issues relating to hosting availability, website performance, or third-party platforms used for media storage.

You agree to indemnify and hold Read My Story harmless from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from your submitted content or your breach of these Terms.

All materials created by Read My Story, including text, graphics, layouts, and software, are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce or use these materials without written permission.

8.1 Hosting of each eTribute page is guaranteed for a minimum of 2 years from the date of publication.

8.2 Hosting is provided for up to a maximum of 10 years, subject to the continued operation of the Read My Story website.

8.3 Read My Story does not offer QR code redirection. The QR code supplied with your product will link to the eTribute page only while the Read My Story website remains operational.

8.4 If the Read My Story website remains operational after the initial 10-year period, you may choose to renew hosting for an additional period by paying the applicable renewal fee at that time.

8.5 Read My Story does not guarantee perpetual or lifetime hosting and makes no representation regarding the future availability of the website beyond the hosting period.

8.6 You acknowledge that hosting is conditional on the continued operation of the Read My Story website.

We may suspend or terminate access to your eTribute page or our services without notice if you breach these Terms or if required by law.

10.1 If we are unable to supply the Product, we may cancel your order and issue a full refund.

10.2 If you request removal of an eTribute page after it has been published:

• We will take reasonable steps to remove the page within 7 days.
• You acknowledge that removed content may still appear in cached pages, archives, or third-party systems beyond our control.
• You are not entitled to a refund for any amounts paid.

These Terms are governed by Australian Consumer Law and the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
